You need to see a gyno doctor, there you can specifically ask for a female doctor. They'll examine you and everything, at first it may feel uncomfortable and a wee bit painful because they open you up down there. They'll check for any diseases or anything. If you're sexually active you probably should get a pap smear (a method for the early detection of cancer especially of the uterine cervix that involves the staining of exfoliated cells using a special technique which differentiates diseased tissue .)

Yes - see a doctor ASAP, even if you have to switch to a female doctor. Call the closest Planned Parenthood for an appointment or referral.

What do you do when you have to go for an annual? I say that it's better to get it checked and know that everything is alright or on it's way to getting there than let it go and have it get worse. It's YOUR health that should be important. He's a doctor, not some guy that you're trying to date. It's his job and he's there to help you.
