I used to teach and one day noticed that several of the girls were wearing long skirts. I asked what the occasion was. Why were they all dressed up. They looked at each other and said they didn't know why. But for the two or three days prior they had had a substitute teacher. A classy lady who wore long skirts and they liked her. Subconsciously they each chose to wear a long skirt after seeing her in one.

No. But floor length skirts have been out for quit some time. It can be around or right above your ankles, mid way on your calves, just below the knee....I am sure there are some ugly skirts out there, regardless of their length....I would be more concerned about the style of the skirt, and how you feel when you where it.

hay, anything u wear is dorky if u thinks its dorky, a skirt is only dorky if u think that, cold weather no they'er not, or u could wear a short skirt w/ tights. its up 2 u. =)

no it is not dorky, I love long skirts. i feel more comfortable and not so confined (or like I have to be ms. proper, i still can be tastful but not worry about showing too much thigh or anything else when i sit down)

It's not so much of the length of the skirt it's the style I have some long skirts that most people love and want to but for themselves....it also depends on what looks good on you...

well i LOVE style so...to me it would be dorky because its not whats in right now!! but maybe in a century or two the skirts will be in!! lol j/k maybe they will be in next year!!!(or in a month just keep reading the style magazones or search online)

No it just depends on how you wear them...have a really cute blouse on and some killer shoes and you'll look great...oh you can also where boots during the winter and it works..i do it all the time....just make sure that you dont end up looking like a grandma k lol!! Good luck!!

I think no, I think long skirts look nice on almost any shape or height of a person, I think they are always in style, least you look like a lady.

It depends on you. A water buffalo doesn't look any better is drapes from her armpits to the floor than in a thong. It's all about you and how you wear your clothes. You are hot not your clothes.

i think that it is dorky to wear long skirts but skirts that come up to your knees or shorter aren't but that is just what i think!
