Amid conflicting reports of a 24-hour stint in rehab earlier in the week, Britney Spears returned to L.A. Friday on an American Airlines flight from Miami, surprising fellow passengers by sitting in the last row of coach class.
And within hours after landing, the peripatetic mother-of-two managed once again to shock onlookers. This time by shaving her head and getting two tattoos at a seedy parlor in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley.
Yes, friends: Shaved. Her. Head.
Usmagazine.com was there as Britney left her Malibu home Friday evening and paid a visit to a Tarzana salon for her brief stint in, uh, hair-hab.
Brit’s rep is hiding! Holy **** this is insane. It would be different if she was just trying to be different and shave her head, then more power to ya sister. But we all know something is SO ******* wrong here. We all know she’s turned into this unstable mess and this is just acting out. Oh lord she’s gonna have crappy hair when it grows in.

I DO! She is crazy, she obviously doesn't care about her kids, she is going to scare the hell out of them with her new "hair cut". What the hell was she thinking!!!?

The paparazzi isn't a new thing. One photographer used to take pictures of Jackie Kennedy and her kids every chance he got, after JFK was killed. She took him to court and was able to keep him at a court-ordered distance from her, but not stop him. Of course, it's far worse now because there's more of them and apparently anything goes. Between the magazines that pay for what they shoot and the celebrities (yes, like Britney) who have at times encouraged them, I don't see an end to it anytime soon. Remember, they learned nothing at all from the pursuit and death of Princess Diana.

Yes she keeps doing things to get media attention.It wouldn't surprise me if she started getting several body piercings or several more tattoos to get more attention.
