It just came to me ,I got it Igot it..........Most people view Jordan as a underdog who broke through and made...everysince bieng cut in highschool.
Most people view Kobe as bieng spioled,But But But.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
" All fingers seen to point at Kobe"- Well when you point that finger you have four fingers pointed back at yourself. But mark it down, when he leaves the game... all this hate will turn to love...and all these people will say he was the greatest ever!
The simple fact that the most questions on this website deal with Kobe proves that people are always hearing about him or seeing him.I said it ...all this hate will turn to love.....trust me.

I think the correct answer in all of basketball may in fact be Kobe Bryant... However the reasoning seems to be nationwide that he's self-fish and a ball hog. However, keep in mind that Kobe is still one of the top vote getters' (BY THE FANS) every all-star game. so it's hard to say he's the most hated player, with the amount of people that love him....
However, ask anyone North of the US border, and the overwhelming answer for all Torontonians and maybe even in all of Canada right now would without a doubt be Vincent Lamar Carter.
His last year in our beloved city he goes out and doesn't even try, asks to be traded, we get NOTHING back, then he goes back to being half man half amazing in New Jersey...
the most embarrassing part of Carter's reign happened this week.
shortly before leaving Toronto he made a comment about how he wasn't going to dunk anymore because dunking was pointless....this weekend he was a JUDGE in the dunk competition
-enough said
Hate Vince not Kobe!

He seemed to get a pretty good reception when he won MVP at the All-Star Game.
1. He's a ballhog? Yeah, ballhogs average 5-6 assists per game in their careers. If his teammates were healthier then he'd have even more assists.
2. He's a rapist? He may be an adulterer and made a mistake but is he in jail? No. The girl just wanted money and attention.
3. He has bad character? Tell that to the little kids at the Boys and Girls club in L.A. that he visited. He's done a lot for the community.

Many people today LOVE to HATE Kobe! Why? Because they say "he's a ballhog" that is all i ever read about Kobe. Do you really care wether or not Kobe passes the ball so long as the Lakers win? Many of you who hate Kobe are not Lakers fans so what's your excuse? "he's a ballhog" So if that is your reasoning go ahead and hate Gilber Arenas who promised 50 and only scored 9, go ahead and hate Marbury, Iverson, even....Jordan! The biggest ballhog of the late 80's and early 90's! As a Lakers fan there is no one i hate more than lambier! i hate that Pistons team and eventhough we had beef with the Celtics i hate that "bad boy" pistons team more. My vote goes to Lambier!

It seems like most people have chosen to hate Kobe.
However, if you are talking about all-time hated players in basketball, I would have to vote for Bill Laimbeer. I'm not sure about the rest of the world, but if you grew up as a Bulls fan during the '80s, you had to hate Bill Laimbeer . . . the dirtiest player in the league. I realize a lot of people may not have liked Dennis Rodman, but he was actually on the last three Bulls championship teams in the '90s, so he's ok in my book.
John Starks would be a distant 2nd.

Kobe Bryant is hated because of the way he treats his teammates. He is hated for the way he treated his wife four years ago. He is hated for the selfish way he plays. However, in person he actually is a decent guy towards his fans. In my opinion, I would say the most hated player in basketball is Stephon Marbury. Many people would say Ron Artest, but outside of the rap album, the Pacers-Pistons brawl, and trade requests, Artest give it his all on the court, to the point of being horribly overzealous. Also note, Artest's teammakes usually have nothing but praise toward the guy. Marbury on the other hand, is much more selfish than Bryant (didn't think that was possible, did you?), clashes with teammates and coaches, and is a jerk towards his fans. After 11 years in the league, one would believe that Marbury has learned his lessons. Not true at all. Look at how many teams prosper after he leaves: Timberwolves, Nets, and Suns all made the playoffs after Marbury left.

The best reason not to like Kobe is the potential he's wasting. He could truly have been the "next MJ", but because he cares so little for the game and so much about himself, he'll never come close to MJ. He'll end up losing opportunities for championships and Finals MVPs because he's too consumed with personal statistics. He has a piss- poor attitude as well. He doesn't deserve to be in the league!

The obvious answer is SNaqeer Oatmeal aka Krispy Kreme, aka Most Dumb Ever. Dude proclaimed Himself MDE, and the ignorant media and the mindless sheep fans went along with it. The guy only has ONE MVP, never won a title without Kobe or Wade to save his butt. Never worked on his game.. Never won a rebounding title ( not ONE title in 14 tears ) never was 1st team all-NBA, never won DPOY, Only thing he can do is barrel his way into the other player and dunk. To basketball old heads, he has ruined the game in the post. He is a disgrace, and a poster child for underachievement

I don't hate him but it's obvious that it's Kobe. He's always been seen as a selfish player, but what I think really made people not like him was everything that transpired in the 2003-04 season.Between the rape allegations and what went down between him and Shaq people really just started hating him.

I would say, Tim Hardaway. You cant just say u hate gay ppl. Thats not right. You cant apologize after saying that, you did mean it! He should have answered that question with a "No comment" or "I am not willing to answer that question at this moment." He was being very ignorant and he still is regarding gays. Tim was a great player in his time, but now he is the most hated player in the NBA.

I hate Kobe personally...but that is beside the point...
If all the players are included...I would say Stephen Jackson (even the experts would agree on this)...that guy is just out of control whether it is on or off the court...
