Dunno, i reckon, i know I'd be shi**ing in the woods if I found one, I think something that big and powerfull could S**t where it wanted, I would'nt argue if I found one sh***ing on my front lawn

Of course they do and with any luck you will step in it for asking such a ridiculous question.
Have you been watching "Open Season" an animated Disney film because if you have, bears don't really act that way.
Addendum:
Seriously though your question isn't totally ridiculous. Many bears don't eat, drink, defecate, urinate or exercise during hibernation which is approximately late September to April depending on where they are located. This can last up to 100-120 days for the American black bear. Their metabolic rate drops to half its normal rate and their heart rate drops to 40-50 beats per minute in late fall when they first hibernate; by December when they are in deep hibernation their heart can go as low as 8 beats per minute.

No they go to the edge of the woods check nobody is watching and then just step a few yards out behind a bush and have a dump there. Would you **** in your house if there wasnt a toilet there lol

Yes and they leave their dinner plate size, popcan girthed dung on trails and roads... or as one bear did he crapped on the edge of the dock down at the creek.. maybe he usually uses water for a toilet?? lol
Seriously though they crap wherever they want.. whos going to stop them?? I have seen alot of black bear crap in my life in the bush, trails, roads, in town, on the dock..lol

Not anymore. They use the public restrooms in the park, or they sneak into your house when you are not at home.
