bush will go down in the history books as one of the best presidents we ever had.
brain less people who are influenced by liberal media such as cnn and cbs think or attempt to think that iraq was a bad deal. but in reality united states have 4 bases in iraq now and an embassy that can house 15,000 personal. united states will make trillions off iraq and keep the prices low at the pumps. i don't know, maybe liberals like paying too much for gas but i don't and i appreciate what the president is doing to secure my needs. call me self fish, call me evil but i don't live in a lala land. cheap oil is good oil. the only real thing we will lose in iraq is our soldiers, 3000 of them. but in return we are getting a lot. how many soldiers died on just D-day alone? and what did we get from that? how many soldiers died in Vietnam...a war started by democrats and what did we benefit from that? democrats want the troops to withdraw from iraq so they can say that "look its another vietnam" and win the presidential election.
overall bush has been a really good president and it will show in few years.
everyone here who are just repeating what they heard on CNN or cbs are just plain stupid and it will take them few years to realize that.

He is the worst president. He's done more to harm America's standing in the world and to destabilize the world in general than anyone in history. His sarcastically-named programs/policies like No Child Left Behind and the USA PATRIOT Act have set back education and freedom in this country.

Anyone who believes the economy is so great because of Bush, or that Bush's response to 9/11/01 was so great, simply lacks the imagination to consider what things might be like if Al Gore had been selected by the Supreme Court in 2000 instead of Bush.

He replaced into an prevalent president. He had almost 0.5 of the inhabitants against him from his first day in place of work simply by close election of 2000 and the mess of the putting chad. He replaced into accused of rigging the election via many. He had to handle the two best failures in the final 50 years - 911 and Katrina. - and replaced into blamed for the two considered one of them. He did no longer continuously make the wonderful determination yet he continuously did what he believed replaced into staggering. maximum politicians tend to alter their minds with each and every new poll.

Good president because he took the war on terror head on. This resulted in extremists running into hiding in Iraq, Afghanistan etc. They are unable to plan any attacks on American soil since then.

Bad president because the Democrats say so. The Democrats did nothing when they were in power to the extent the extremists were happy to be among ordinary Americans in America to plan attacks. Neither did they did anything in the middle east.

The man cannot make everybody happy. What he has done is to make millions of Americans live in a country that is secure.

Bad, because he still acts like the president of a frat house not a world power. When he tried to delegate he gave other positions of power to other inept people. Now he still tries to act like he did nothing wrong he will go down in history as one of the worst ever, & he doesn't even realize it. He still thinks he's the best we ever had. I would feel sorry for him but he made a bundle out of his 8 years & is leaving it for a Dem or Indy to clean up his mess & lay the blame on them. I don't think any serious republican wants to fill his shoes after this debackle, blame it on a new administration & come back in 4 to take the credit; just like Raygun did with the peanut farmer.

Good.

More Americans, especially minorities, own their own homes and own businesses under GWB than at any time in the history of our nation. More minorities are in positions within the executive branch and the judicial branch of our government now than at any time in the history of our nataion. This is due to his appointments.

The stock market is at an all time high, the capital gains tax is lower with increased total revenue into the treasury. Income taxes are down, and revenue is up. People are keeping more of their paycheck, and spending as well as saving is up. More people are invested into the stock market and own shares than at any time ever, even adjusting for population as well as percentage.

Unemployment is the lowest ever, even better than under FDR.

I would consider that a good accomplishment for any administration.

I agree with the poster that said "ask 5 years from now". If you know history, every president has been criticized. Reagan was scrutinized by many "Americans", but now he's considered one of the greatest.

Ask 5 years from now and we will really see his impact on things. The war will make or break him like it did LBJ. Nobody talks about LBJ signing the Civil Right Bill and the Great Society programs. Nobody will talk about Bush's....whatever good he did.

Bad president. He used his religion as a means to getting the presidency. He seduced christians into voting for him. Then once there he used the fear tactic to scare people into voting for him. Its really pathetic to think americans could be so stupid, but i guess thats what happens when you have an inadequate education system like ours.

What makes him bad.
No Child Left Behind
Iraq
Patriot Act

Those are all huge.
