Does anyone know? I'm asking about the date this stuff was shipped out because I haven't bought any PB in months, maybe since July? I would hope it is a more recent batch.
I haven't gotten sick at all, just wondering out of curiosity. And hoping that it will relieve some folks who have bought ahead in the past.

The news is saying that the company is recalling all Peter Pan peanut butter made in June 2006 and later, which is quite ridiculous because peanut butter bought in June would surely be consumed by now.
That's why you buy JIF.

I have no idea, but we had 2 jars almost empty that had the serial numbers they were looking for. We are all fine, but I have three daughters under 7 to worry about.

I heard they said to get rid of any Peter Pan that you may have bought since May of last year. Oh, and Walmart brand.

Could have been there for years!
This stuff only goes bad when someone gets sick from it!
