Depends who the rest of your staff is, but I would say Maddux, mainly because Petco park is the best pitchers park and Maddux is such a control-master. Run-support for him won't be great, but he'll give you a good ERA and some wins -- but he won't help you with K's, so the rest of your staff needs to be good there. He won't be phenomenal, but he's not risky like the rest of those pitchers.

Bush and Francis would be a toss-up for my next choice after Maddux -- but they both have weaknesses. Bush is too inconsistent, and Francis pitches in Colorado.

I'd shop him as a trade. There is bound to be someone in your league that will offer something good for the "Clemens gamble." Otherwise, I would at least hold off on making a move until closer to the start of the season and see who looks good. That said, my opinion now would be Maddux, Robertson, and Francis in that order (without knowing what your other pitching looks like or your league settings).

I go with Francis. Maddux is a close second. I hear a lot of hype this year surrounding Dave Bush but I don't buy it. I have seen him pitch for Toronto and I watched him last year. He hasn't done anything impressive. Francis pitches in Colorado but since they brought in the humidor last year, take a look at his numbers. He is only getting better, nobody in the NL West has a strong line-up, he get more K's than the others as well. Francis is my guy.

Dude...
make the right move...
go with Jeff Francis, he still has a lot to show and you will get a time where he is playing the best baseball in the majors and will be able to trade him for a bundle...

if you want the safe pick Dave Bush should have a solid season

It depends on who the rest of your Pitching staff is. Maddux will give you help in ERA and wins. Petco is a pitchers park. After Maddux I would take D. Bush or Jeff Francis. Bush should rebound this year and get 15, 160K and ERA about 4.0. Jeff Francis will get you 13 wins 110 -130K and ERA 4.16. You might check and see if Scott Shields is avalabe he will give you 7-10 wins 3 saves, 2.86 ERA, 86K and a handful of holds.

I'd go Dave Bush. He is moving up in the Brewer rotation and he has the ability to be a 16-18 game winner.

If you have the space on your roster I would keep Clemens until he 100% retires. If he decides he is going to play he could help you in the second half of the season.

If you don't have the space then pick up Dave Bush.

I'm a little biased as a Brewer fan, but you gotta go with Bush. He has potential to win 15 or more games and generally has a good ERA. Lackluster SO totals though.

Nate Robertson for sure, Bush is also solid.

I'd take Maddux for the wins and era.

Bush would be a close 2nd.
