MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS .... and stop the moralizing.

What about the nearly 700,000 deaths that War Supporters are responsible for in IRAQ?

There is a valid comparison in supporting war and aborting babies. Both result in DEATH. Hence the DON'T MORALIZE statement. You Conservatives can't have it both ways.

Mind *my* own business? Sorry, Humanist, but I'm a woman...it's a hell of a lot more *my* business than yours.

I am pro-choice, but only to a point. It was never intended to be birth control, and anyone using it as such should be spayed like a DOG.

Of course, I also think that men who run around fathering children like a damned rabbit should be neutered, and dead beat dad's should have a giant tattoo on his face.

I agree - a woman *shouldn't* have to suffer for life because of one unguarded moment. But there isn't much excuse for more than one "unguarded moment."

What have those two questions got to do with each other? They are two completely unrelated subjects.

Do you hold that you should be allowed to run a little old lady over as she walks across the street because she was moving too slowly? Most likely, you do not. Why is it right for the State to protect life in that instance, but not regarding abortion?

EDIT: Ohhhh, NOW you hold "There is a valid comparison in supporting war and aborting babies. Both result in DEATH." If you agree that an abortion causes death, how can you legitimately be in favor of granting people the right to make that choice for another living human?

Yes, we all must take responsibility for the choices we make. If I, in the heat of the moment, beat the hell out of someone, wouldn't I be held accountable? I am pro-choice, by the way, just think some people use abortion as a form of birth control, which I believe is wrong. BTW, since when is having a child "suffering". I know people who had children at a young age and went on to be successful.

No, I don't but I think that if she continues to have "unguarded moments" she shouldn't be using abortion as birth control. As for the war supporters being responsible for any deaths in Iraq, that's just silly and not comparable. You have trouble with that.

It is our business when tax payers are footing the bill....Why should another human have to pay for someone else's " unguarded moment" .. One thing I see over and over is how the Liberal left loves to put the Iraq death count on those that support our troops. I can't think of one time a coalition operative strapped on a bomb and blew up a market full of people.... Maybe the problem lies in the fact that the "anti-troop" protesters really don't have a clue as to who's killing who over there...The insurgents are the bad guys....Okay??

Now, how many times have people told you that your numbers regarding Iraqi deaths is bogus, and have shown you alternate sources that were more truthful? Does the lie help your cause? Do you need the lie to forward your belief? Would the truth harm your belief?

And now you claim that a woman will suffer for life if she can't abort her child? That's exactly what you're claiming. And it is a ridiculous claim.

I suppose there are women who can kill their babies and justify it to themselves and not be bothered about it, but I haven't met one. My niece, who let herself be pursuaded to kill her unborn baby, almost committed suicide when the full realization of what she'd done hit her. She's now a proud mother, but she still mourns the baby she chose to abort, the life that never got to be.

my goodness.

Who is telling who to stop moralizing?

One unguarded moment is not very specific. But if that moment created a baby and you think killing the unborn is a solution. Then you are taking innocent life.

So why is there a statement about death in Iraq in your question?

the two doing my Sketches (paintings!) or ... taking some greater pictures with my digital SLR digicam (and that i focus so stressful on the two one in each of human beings that that's a time i'm unguarded)

She is responsible for her body. Unless she was raped, she could have said no or used contraception. It's called consequences. Our actions have them. They happen.

And abortion is not the only choice, you know. There are thousands of couples waiting to adopt children.

The topic of abortion has nothing to do with Iraq, so "stop the moralizing" right back at you.

I think it's sad that bringing new life into this world should be regarded as "suffering," and I really don't care whether you think it's moralizing.

If a mother doesn't want her child, she can give that child up for adoption. You may not like it, but who gives a damn about what you like; after all, your option is to kill the child.

As for the senseless deaths caused by George Bush's ideological pursuit over his "Christian" values, that's a sin too, I think.
