I Think it's someone that will always be there for you no matter what and wouldnt hurt you in anyway...... Otherwise I'd say that it depends on the guys personality.......

The perfect man is a man of honor and integrity. He loves God, and loves his wife. He respects her and she respects him. He seeks to put her needs above his own. He has a pure heart and loves to lavish his wife with priceless gifts such as time spent with her, listeneing (without reservation)to her share from her heart, going for walks just to be together, taking her shopping even if she doesn't purchase anything. He is always seeking ways to confirm and secure their love. He is an awesome lover. He is her best friend, and a safe place to share the deepest feelings of her heart. He is a great communicator. He loves her unconditionally, and is always looking for ways to prove it. He loves to surprise her, and will do so by doing things around the house (getting up early to make her breakfast, booking a weekend away for just the two of them without letting her know until the last minute, vacuuming while she takes a break, clearing the dinner dishes, just to name a few). He tells her she is the most beautiful woman in the world, and he means it. He knows how to balance a checkbook, a budget, and a very hectic work schedule. Pretty simple.
Basically, respectful and happy with her the way she is. If you want to change something major about her personality, it's not a strong romantic relationship. Sure, you can still be friends but you have to love the whole person.
Essentially what a man wants from a woman, or so I think.

there's no such thing. each individual may have someone that would be perfect FOR them, but that person would always be far from perfect.
if you're asking what a woman would be happy with, that would vary from woman to woman, as it would vary from man to man what he would want. some people are shallow & want "things". some people want partnership. some want love, passion. it's always different. there would never be "A perfect man" [or woman]

The perfect man for any woman (i believe) is someone who they can trust, someone who doesn't try to make their girl jealous, someone with a good personality, good sense of humor... but most of all... someone who backs them up all the way...supporting every decision they make...someone who would be there for them anytime they needed them....
