So, I've got writers block. Am looking for a really interesting plotline or story idea for suspense/mystery. Any ideas?

A 5 yr. old girl in late 1940's gets adopted by a couple (army) and taken to WI, they own a bar and he drinks and molests her and she speaks only german, even in school. The mother has children and treats her awful. She works all her life in bar, even prom, and marrys the first guy she dated to get out of that life. Her husband and her own kids are bad to her and so she secretly found out her biological mother in germany the day her last son graduated. She goes there, she found out she was the only one adopted out, for money after the war. She was the youngest kid of all her siblings, but they remembered and told her of her mom's sorrow over the mistake of selling her. Her life of sorrow is her mothers fault, but she forgave her, and went back again and found she had died.

Oh yea, sure, I give you a great idea, (or actually a lame one that only I think is great), and you become rich and famous and I grow old and bitter! Whatever. So the new cast of "Survivor " is being flown to a remote island and the seaplane they're in goes down. Now they are really lost as a storm rolls in. To make matters worse they are being killed off one at a time. Perhaps a deranged killer gets casted on the new show, or is there another person on this "deserted" island. Or maybe the host knows that he is going to be replaced and that this is his last show and it drives him over the edge! Go figure. Good luck! I'll keep an eye out for you. (eh, eh, eh)

I'd start here. They could be boys or girls, men or women, fraternal or identical. Rivals or collegues, but there must be a deep dark secret that if revealed will cause a major upheavel in the community.

The stalker in plain sight.
Never talks calls or writres....He is always there and stares.
She askes for a restraining order but the polices say..."He hasn't done anything wron" or"We never see him"
And the stalker turns out to be DUM DUM DUM...... (you figure it out and we split the $$$$)
