The best answer to that I ever heard was from Archbishop Desmond Tutu. He said "The Bible says some fantastic things that no one in their right mind would ever believe." He was actually talking about how gay people are gods creatures too. He was the Arch Bishop of Johannesburg, South Africa, and a Nobel Peace Prize winner, so I will go with him over all the idiots out there.

This kind of thing makes me so sad. I'm sorry people have had the nerve to convince you that your brother won't go to heaven, because it is NOT true.
The Good News of Jesus Christ is that we are ALL saved. The idea that someone will go to hell just because somebody here on earth thinks they are a sinner is SOOOO Old Testament. Think about it. Why did God send his son to walk among us human beings? He did that so that we could ALL be saved, not so that some of us could be saved if we were all good little boys and girls.
No, your brother deserves the same salvation we're all gonna get in the end.
Good luck, and God bless. <3

My brother is gay too. WIll he go to heaven? Of course he will. He's known he was gay since he was 5. It's not a choice. I didn't choose to be tall, he didn't choose to be gay. Your brother will go to heaven too. In my opinion heaven is for all who are good and kind, and all animals too. Serial killers, child molesters, ritualist abusers....well they may have a problem.

Micklo, because of Adam and Eve's disobedience, we are all born sinners. All of us are homosexuals, murders, fornicators, thieves, adulterers or liars. Maybe even more than one of those. We all sin.

Jesus came to the earth for the purpose of becoming a blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins. Those of us who will choose Him as our Lord and Savior and repent (which means to turn away from sin), will be given the free gift of eternal life with God.

God doesn't want anyone to be lost. That is why even though we are born sinners, He has provided Jesus for us. Not choosing Jesus is the only way that we remain separated from God.

Your brother is committing what God calls sin of the flesh. Sexual activity is designed by God, for 1 man and 1 woman in marriage. Any other is sin. Coming to Jesus for love, leadership and forgiveness is the way to go to Heaven. The only way.

Sometimes I wonder what God wanted from us, really. Can we trust the Church? Does the Church really carry out God's will? or has it turned into a big business? I believe that as long as you were a good person, did no one harm, and tried to serve God in the best way you can, all wrongs will be forgiven. At least that's what we all hope for isn't it. Who among us has done no wrong?

I think you know the answer. It's the people who think that gay people aren't worthy of heaven just because they're gay that are mistaken. Their problem usually is that they don't know any gay people, or certainly not as well as you know your brother. And they definitely don't know God as well as you do. Your brother is blessed to have you as his brother. Rest easy. Your brother's place in the afterlife is as assured as your own.

"They say" who are they? I have never met anyone who has gone to Heaven, then came back and told us all what and who was there, have you? I think love and compassion for others will get us into our Heaven. Judging, name calling and hating at best, will only give us more to answer for when the time comes.

Gay people are gay, get over it... god isn't going to punish someone for being straight, how can he punish them for being gay? That's like punishing someone for being black or white or having freckles.. its ridiculous. God does punish those that condemn others. Think of the pharasies who thought they were so pious.
