I have eaten "old" yogurt 4 months past the ex. date and it was exactly the same as "new" yogurt....just had to stir it up real good.Why do I keep answering food questions? Roll-ups,bologna,burgers,yogurt.....?????

It could be bad, it's a perishable item. I've eaten canned food and food in boxes, such as cereal, when they were out of date, and I've never had any trouble with it. Actually, my daughter just told me that the popcorn I eat now and then (the kind you pop yourself), is two years old! I would have never known it!

I used a cake mix about 4 months past the date and noone knew..and it tasted fine..lol...

most stuff gets tossed here before it expires. i don't take a chance. BUT, if it doesn't smell or i can put my tongue on it and not want to gag, i'll eat it if i am really hungry/too tired to go to the store.
