Hi... just bought some CDs today (legit ones from HMV!) and imported them to my Music Library in iTunes. Strangely, these imported tracks in the Misic Library won't play... when I select the track and hit "Play", iTunes automatically goes down the list to select another song (already in the Library) and plays that instead. Very strange!

I tried to rip these songs using Windows Media Player to my laptop hard disk, them import these WMA files into my iTunes and this works... tho it's extremely tiring. And bizarre!! Why isn't iTunes recognising the CD import directly?

HELP! Thanks in advance :)

1) the cds might have some kind of copy protection

2) check your 'import' settings and make sure they're right (not sure if you encode to something like mp3 or wav)

3) make sure the songs are checked after you import them

You can't rip CD's via Windows Media Player. The extension it rips them in is .WMA, which isn't compatible with iTunes. When you import a CD, instead open iTunes and the CD will show up with a button that says import CD. Just click that and it'll do the rest for you.

on the left hand area, theres a area bar. As you probably understand. click on the single that proclaims sparkling CD or Audio CD of despite and on the backside staggering hand nook theres a botton that proclaims import CD click it and it will ask some thing and then they are going to be importing. you will might desire to call all your songs your self except you get fortunate.

After you imported your CDs did you sync them into your library? Well try pluging your Ipod into your computer and then sync your Ipod and see if they will play. If not then I don't know.
