Who purchases items based on the country that produces it. I mean, it's much smarter and better for our economy if one strictly purchases products made in Canada. But I was wondering who actually lived by that law and meticulously scrutinized products to ensure that there made in Canada prior to buying them. Of course, for some things there's no way of going around the import, but for the other products?
Do you consider it worth it, to pay higher prices for Canadian products rather then pay low prices (dollar store) for products related to cheap labor?

I buy USA when ever it is possible. If I had to drive all over looking for that label I would be wasting MY money... I am a smart shopper for MY home. I do not concern myself with labors of others. I alone cannot do anything about the cheap labor things going on in the world. I only know that maybe those people are damn glad to have a job at all !! I know I would be !

If all countries start buying only thier own products, world economy will be much better. Everybody will be end up buying costly products.

In olden days, each family used to hunt and gather their own food. Then man became civilized and had villages , then cities, states.... and so on.
