I'm a scot who has been living in Lithuania for 12 years.
Lithuania is on the Baltic sea, bordered by Latvia, Kaliningrad, Belarus and Poland. The population is about 3.5 million and about 97% of the population is lithuanian, the rest being mainly Polish or russian.
The official language is lithuanian, one of the oldest Indo-european languages. Lithuania is a parliamentary democracy. the head of state is a president and the capital is Vilnius. It is in the EU and Nato.
as for what it is like. Flat, forested, lots of lakes and there are five main cities. Lots of old buildings. The old town in vilnius is protected by unesco. Cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The people are fine and it has some of the most spectacular sand dunes in europe.
It was also the last country in europe to christianize but today it is a modern bustling little country and I like it.

I have never been to Lithuania. But I do know that Lithuania is a small country in Eastern Europe. It is a former member of the USSR. I think it has a water border. I also believe it is home to 2 current NBA players, Zydrunus Illgauskas of the Cavs, and Sarunus Jasikavicus of Golden State.

I remember that the beaches where pretty as well as the countryside. A great souvenir from Lituhainia is Amber, there is soo much of it. I remember visiting a few palaces and an amber museum in Lithuania too bad I forgot where I was.
