I have my car parked for few days and the tires were about one quarter burried in snow I took it out, drove it and I noticed this crazy steering wheel vibration (so bad) next day everything was fine and came back t normal I haven't driven it since then. Does any body know why or how this could have happened? thanks

The snow packed inside the rims caused the vibration. Once it got out, no more vibration. The same thing would happen with mud.

The wheel was no longer in balace due to packed snow and ice causing the vibrations. Then it either melted or got thrown out and all was balanced in the universe again

snow could have been frozen on the inside of the rim making the wheel off balance

Possibly the temperature change from last driving, with the wheels getting hot then cooling quickly ( but unevenly) could have warped something in the housing temporarily.

May have had ice stuck in the tread and threw the wheel out of balance until it melted? Hard to say.
