it's when you meet someone, usually in a bar or a club or any night oriented venue, take them home with you, or go home with them, have sex, then never see them again.
Don't even think about it, you hear me, since these days, not only can you end up with all sorts of horrible diseases, the dude can end up being some crazy serial killer (they can look very normal at first glance) and will torture you before chopping you up to tiny Little peaces, while broadcasting this on the net as his master-peace snuff film.
Make sure that you get to know a person VERY WELL before getting into anything sexual with them. I don't want to scare you, but as a former cop, I feel obligated to raise the flag of caution.

You go out, you meet somebody, you go home with somebody, you have sex with them, and that's it. No questions, no answers, no commitments. The next morning the hangover kicks in and somebody usually does the "walk of shame" back home. Or to the car they left in the parking lot of the bar they were at.
