Listen to me . If your smart you will take the ouiji board and throw it in the nearest dumpster . Playing around with that thing you may open some doors you didn't expect to open . Sylvia Brown says screwing around with a ouiji board is one of the worst things you could get envolved with . Try it if you want but be careful .

People are just so afraid of things they do not understand.

Ouija Boards are actually called "Talking Boards". They are tools that are used by those who are sensitive to "spirits" to communicate with those spirits.

The directions are quite simple. Place the "pointer", correctly called the planchette, on the board. Usually two people will place their fingers on the planchette and the planchette is moved by you in response to what spirits are indicating. They do not "magically" move around the board. Spirits are non-corporeal, so they can not move it. Instead, you "hear" the spirits through your subconscious and you hands respond. Much like automatic writing. But a lot more readable.

In most working groups, this is done by at least three people, two to move the planchette (having more than one person reading the spirits makes the connection better) and one who records the reading.

This is a tool. It is not a portal, it is not a gateway, it is not a Hollywood movie, it is not a hotline to "the devil", whoever he is.

You are basically channeling the spirits.

Many folks will look for a "spirit guide" who will help them connect on the other side. This spirit does two things. Enables you to connect with the spirit you want, and looks out for you. Some folks call this spirit "HGA" or their Holy Guardian Angel. Others have animal spirits, family members or other such trusted spirits.

It is, first and foremost, a tool. It does not do anything in and of itself, and is useless without an operator.

Have fun with this, explore beyond your own boundaries. And never evoke anything bigger than a breadbox.

Ouija boards, pendulum fortune telling, and water dowsing all works on the same basic principle- ideomotor motion. This means that small muscles are subtly affecting the slider (planchette), pendulum, or water wand without conscious thought.

In the Ouija board, you place the slider/planchette in the middle of the board, and everyone rests their fingertips LIGHTLY on it. One person asks a question out loud and you read what the slider goed to.

The fewer people touching the slider the better for results, but it is a more fun party game with lots of people touching it.

Understand- the results are not psychic by any definition. Try it out yourself. Have a friend in the room write a different 3 digit number on 3 to 5 cards and show them to you. Step out of the room and have him seal one card in a good envelope.

Have him stay in the other room but slide the sealed envelope out to you. Have two other friends who did not see any of the numbers use the board to deterimine the number in the envelope.

Any spiritual entity should have no trouble passing on 3 simple digits. Any real psychic should be able to easily read the chooser's mind- but it will NEVER happen!

HOWEVER... you can use this game to your advantage if you are an evil person (heh, heh, hehh!)

Ask a buddy to write down 3 numbers and seal them in an envelope. Have him use the slider and 'clear his mind'. Ask the 'spirits' to guide the slider to the first number, then the second, then the third.

Your buddy's ideomotor motions should guide him to the answers... BUT ouija boards are probably the worst example of good ideomotor action.

A simple pendulum is a lot better! Any 'weight on a string' will work- a mystic-looking necklace is perfect. Hold the string with about 5-8" between the weight and your fingers. Pinch the string lightly between thumb and first finger and hold your arm over the table.

DO NOT MOVE ANYTHING, but think about the pendulum moving in a circle... then side to side... then back and forth... and it will! It is slow to start, but moves nicely with no conscious control of your muscles.

Have a buddy hold it and ask him questions. Make side to side 'No', back and forth 'Yes', and circling 'Maybe'. Draw it on a piece of paper, well-labeled, under the pendulum to make it work even better.

It is not quite a lie detector, but it is a lot of fun anyway!

first thing, go to Toys R Us. Then get the model made by Parker Bros. cause they know Ouija. Then you get 2 people to sit on the floor facing each other. Balance the board on your knees, and place the slider thingy on the board. Both people place their pointer fingers on the sliders corners. Now ask a question. If the slider doesn't move, then you obviously bought a cheap version of Ouija and you need to return it to the store. Remember only Parker Bros. has the proper mystical properties to preform Ouija correctly.

Boudica would want you to believe it is a Guardian Angel you are talking to but clearly she does not know what she is talking about.

Stacie Spielman wrote several ebooks about her life with what she thought was her Guardian Angel and she learned in a very painful experience that these are not just spirits or Angels but demons that pretend to be your friend.

She advised never to try to contact the sprit world with a Ouija board.

That thing is like a loaded weapon and if you are not careful, the consequences can be quite dangerous.

The chances of you opening the portal to let in hostile entities are very slim, yet, posible.

I see someone gave you instructions to "make it work". Let me know when you need help to close the portal. That's when you will really need all the help you can get.

Because it doesn't work...

The users' subconscious guides his muscles to the answers he wants to see ,the easiest being "yes" and "no" (no spirits involved, just the users' own self suggestion) if you do get more exact examples let me know, I need my fathers bank code :-).
