OS X supports many printers, so open the Finder and go to the Utilities folder and choose Printer Setup. Scroll through the list of supported printers by brand to see what works natively.

Use Google to find printer reviews and owner feedback by typing in the make and model of the printer you want. Then, go shopping.

TIP: Not all printer manufacturers support OS X, so be sure to ask before you buy.
