i'm afraid that you have to face the truth and that is that your boyfriend does not turn you on so call him friend and keep it moving

Exercise. Perhaps weights in particular. As well as the endorphins, it stimulates testosterone production, and testosterone is the main controller of sex drive in both men and women (and men have 10 times as much. I wonder why they're so sex obsessed ...)
If porn works to put you in the mood, go with it. Rather then doing it furtively, just ask your bf if you two can watch some porn together. My guess is he'll be okay with it. Like, more then okay.
Other factors could be stress, changes in your relationship, etc. You state there seems to be 'no particular reason' though, so ... no suggestions there.

M female friends all say that once they start having sex, they want more of it. Good sex that is. A few said they thought they had lost all desire for it, but once they started again, the old feelings came back in full force.

Well, I have never had this problem, but I do find that alcohol certainly helps, as does watching a film with a love scene in it whilst drunk. OR, look at a bit of porn, you might think grose,or you might be surprised, apparently a huge amount of us girlys do it now, I have had the odd peek I have to admit.

Women's libido increases as so does their self worth-if you think you are someone special it will reflect in your sex drive because you will want a man who agree and is willing to show it. Firstly-make sure you are eating right-eat plenty of veggies and lean meats-try to lay off pork and beef if you can. Secondly, exercise to boost your energy because energy increases libido. Thirdly-make a point to make sure you look your best when you leave your home for ANYTHING! Keep your hair nice looking, face in good shape, nice clean clothes that flatter you-all these things that boost self confidence boost libido. Have your boyfriend if you have one or husband feed you chocolate. Chocolate is a natural aphrodisiac and antioxidant.

Having sex more often, sometimes even when you are not in "the mood", increases your sex drive.
