The sky was raining diamonds
untile they came
and took the angle away

A war in the yard
and the vines are searching
for a wall to climb

Neither of those are haiku. haiku have a fixed meter of 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the second line, and 5 syllables in the third line.

The (1) sky(1) was(1) raining(2) diamonds(2) = 7
untile(2) they(1) came(1) = 4
and(1) took(1) the(1) angle(2) away(2) = 7

A(1) war(1) in(1) the(1) yard(1) = 5
and(1) the(1) vines(1) are(1) searching(2) = 6
for(1) a(1) wall(1) to(1) climb(1) = 5

The second one does however use nature as a setting (or at least as much as a yard can be considered nature).
