I think you first need to update your prescription so you can see the keyboard, at least I hope that accounts for that assault on the English language you call a question up there. You have to wait until your eye prescription is stable before you can consider laser surgery, and it is likely still changing at 18

i got laser eye surgery and now i have better than 20/20 vision. I definitely recommend it! As long as you go to a qualified and recommended doctor. My mom, brother, and father have also received laser eye surgery and all have perfect vision now. It is great. Its like being born again...well not really. But it is amazing to go from seeing the world kinda blurry and then all of a sudden seeing it crystal clear. I even have a lifetime warranty! lol Also, I have no problem seeing things up close and do not need reading glasses, like another person mentioned they did. But my mom does. It seems to be a side affect for older people. One side effect i did have for a couple months was halos. Halos appear around lights, especially at night. So it was kinda annoying to drive at night, but that has pretty much cleared up. I would get laser eye surgery in a heart beat if i needed it. Its not 100% safe, you can lose vision totally or partially in your eye. you can get infections. just do your research There are definitely side effects! and risks! But the doctor should explain this to you and give you a pamphlet about it.

laser surgery on the eyes is perfectly safe........my daughter had laser surgery on her eyes at 5 months old then another one at 8 months..........and she did fine.

oh and she is going on 10 yrs old and has great vision.so dont listen to what the other people just said.......that you have to wait til your 21 to have surgery on your eyes...........because that is bull

i think any good doctor makes you wait till you are over 21. at eighteen your eyes may still be changing--something like that. anyways i just had a friend do it and her doc told her that he won't do it on anyone under 25.
