Wikipedia is very vague with its answers

I can't add anything to what your other answerers have posted. It burned down in 1939 and was finally demolished in 1944.

You can go to the site if you wish, but there's not a lot there.

Borley Rectory Still There

Borley rectory burned down a long time ago. There are stories of strange things still happening there and some say the site is actually fenced off now but there's no building there now.

It was torn down in 1944, but you can still visit the site where the old rectory once stood.

Yep - The house is gone, but you can still visit the site where it stood.

Be sure to read the Harry Price book before you go.

(and pack an extra pair of underwear - I've heard that strange things still happen there)

The building doesn't exist anymore. You can visit the site, but wear a building worker's helmet. There are still a few bricks around which might attack you.

no it burnt down in the 1980's. when I lived in Colchester my friend & I had planned to go and have a look. By the way Simon Thompson of Colchester if you are looking at Yahoo, when are going to return my CD's that you borrowed back in 1995!

Not as far as I know if burned down sometime, I do not have my books here so cannot remember when. I think that the remains were bulldozed and removed but I may be wrong.
