I want to name my little boy"Christer", please tell me how do you think about it, wheather you like it or not. Explain your reason, thanks.

I think this name is very close to "Christopher," "Chris" or "Christian." If you don't mind your son being called Christopher or one of the other names instead of Christer, go ahead.
But, I think your son will be correcting people's pronunciation of his name for his entire life.

wow - not a fan. it sounds too colloquial - "Hey! It's the Christer! The Chris-enator! Chris-a-lis-a-ding-dong! Baron Von Christer! The Chriser" Why not Christopher?

i am Christer than you are... said the boy in church.. do like the addams family.. he said he went through all the good names like adolph mussolini... etc... and settled on something he would never be made fun of for....
