Timberlake, Spears, anything "rap", anything considered "EMO" that whole genre is overrated crap.

BTW Reens.......say what you will about KISS. Yes, they were all about the show. But more than that, they are about the fans. Giving them what they want and pay for. I would much rather listen or watch Kiss than 99.9% of the EMO garbage that is out today. And as for your stat about them not writing 80% of their music, check your numbers pal. I have every KISS cd/album ever put out and every song, save a select few, are written by at least one member of the band, music and/or lyrics. Are they Jimmy Page/Robert Plant/Paul McCartney/John Lennon? NO and they never claimed to be.

People like Fergie and Spears are not overrated....nobody considered them great in the first place, besides 11 year olds.

I'm going to go with U2. No offense to those of you who like the band, but I can't stand their music. My next choice would be Nirvana....some songs were okay (I could listen to them and my ears wouldn't bleed), but nothing about them was great.

KISS!!!!!! Kiss is the most overrated band in the history of Rock and Roll. I won't say by far (by far), because there are talentless people that became very popular too. Kiss had mindless lyrics, simple tunes, but they were great performers. Some of the best. They got people our of their seats and got them screaming, but that's not the definition of a musician(s). I 'll get some flack for this I know, but think about this, Kiss, didn't even write 80% of their music. They were nothing more than performers with makeup and puppets in the music industry.
