It doesn't have to be. It's people that complicate it unnecessarily. We tend to be stupid that way.

Complicated? Without the complexities, there would be no fun, no need to strive, no achievements. People have an instinctive need for conflict in their life because they are always searching for something.Where is a story if it is so simple anyone can tell the ending while you are still in the middle.?One problem with some TV shows now is that they all begin and end in basically the same way as if they came from a formula or batch. Real life is unique.Everyone deserves the right to be able to provide a 'twist' to an experience without another person being able to guess it..

Every day, life seems to get more complicated. On one hand, as a person gets older, their mind filled with more information, things seem to be more complicated. On the other hand, governments are always introducing new laws and regulations; people are suing other people, resulting in new laws and warning tags on products; anything and everything getting regulated by the government; stupid people making mistakes and suing others who neglected to tell them something that they should already have known just by using their own common sense. And then there are forms. Forms to fill out for everything. And on those forms are ridiculously long legal statements that no one reads because only lawyers can understand them. And many questions on the forms are difficult to understand and require people to ask questions about how to fill out the form. The world is regulated to death because of stupid people who have no common sense, and everything is made needlessly more complicated.

We often walk ourselves into complications. Most of them come as a result of our involvement with others. Generally, we need others to make our way through life. We are social creatures. But when our relationships become so difficult that they don't help, but hurt us, then things have to change.
When the complications have to do with unpredictable (non people generated) circumstances, such as "my car broke down and I can't afford to fix it." or "A tornado destroyed my home in Florida." these you must simply work through.
As you get older, you find that the "ideal" world does not exist. Our surrounding environment - even though mainly man made - is still not always friendly. Try imagining living 200, or 500 years ago. Much harder then. And if you have made the complications yourself - then get rid of some or all of them.

Actually, it is as complicated as you choose to make it. Yes, it is true that there are things that happen that are beyond our control, however, most complications are a direct result of decisions and choices that people make. You CAN choose to live a simple life and eliminate many of the complications. I have a friend who does that-she is pretty much unencumbered-doesn't own any material possessions, except for basic needs and lives a very uncluttered (of things, toxic people, etc.) life and thus, less complications.

ontheroadagainwithouty and Daniel J are correct.
We create a lot of our own "complications" by doing things like placing unreasonably high expectations on ourselves, or allowing others' unreasonable expectations to weigh on our minds and self-image.
Another bad habit is not being able to sort out the small stuff from the really big stuff. Our minds are littered with meaningless problems. To quote the poet T.S. Elliot, our lives are "measured out in coffee spoons."
Life will generally hand us more than enough real issues and situations to deal with; we don't have to just create more for ourselves.
And, of course, sometimes things do get genuinely complicated. Choices have to be made, and often there are more than just two options to any situation; it's usually not all black & white, either-or.

Life is complicated, and it is by us, our location on this beautiful rock, our earth. Our courage to fight the sharp edges of life, our convidence so low/high over the mountains some humans call molehills. Our beauty in which doesn't matter but yet again, us people make it difficult to just be ourselves. Our love in which is veryveryVERY complicated, our hearts in which most of the time expresses feeling of which thy heart is broken, our intellegence can exclude u from which we all call the "populars". Our negativity that begins fights or such wars, our positivity in which brings some negativity to others but positivity to some yet few. Our ideas that start futures for many many people, our curiousity that tickles the mind of the future, and thy fears in which some come true, but fear is something that stops us from doing what we dreamt we always would.

Life is not complicated at all, it actually is very basic. We are the ones who make our lives "complicated" by stressing and worrying over things that actually have no impact on the quality of our lives.

that is what makes life so interesting. Can you imagine what life would be like without its complications? Overcoming these obsticals help us grow and learn more about ourselves. Look at life as a video game if you can beat this one level you get to move to the next one with more skills. Kind of a nerdy analogy but it's true.

All I can really say is that, it's life, ya know?
I think that the complicated/hard times make us better people in the end. Plus, if you have no lows, then you can not have any highs (metaphorically speaking).
Hope all works out =D!
