Paint the box green and attach wire coat hangers with material stretched over them and stapled to the side of the box for the wings. Paint 4 yoghurt pots green and attach them upturned to the bottom of the box with glue for the legs. Colour a shoelace green with a highlighter and pin it to the back of the box for the tail. For his mouth, paint a yoghurt pot green and cut it in almost in half lengthways, cut small triangles into the inside edges to create teeth, attach the rim of the yoghurt pot to the front of the box with glue. Cut out two circles, from yoghurt pots, paint eyes on them and attach them above the mouth with glue.

Can you use newspaper and watered down glue (papier maché, I mean) aswell?

Are you are making a dragon where the legs could be made up out of several yoghurt cups and the tail too, or is this a kind where the cups would be the nostrils and someone could fit inside the boxes? In any case, you can also cut up the boxes to make the ears and the jagged back, right?

Also remember you might get away with using smaller yoghurt cups (Petit Suisse) and the bigger half liter ones too. I remember from one of my mother's how-to-make-things books that they suggested plastic cups separated by beads and all of it tied together with a string passed through holes in the bottom of the cups. Made for a flexible body. Instead of beads you might use balls of scrunched up newspaper or cardboard (Kellogs boxes or any corrugated boxes from the skip.) Enjoy!
