Yes! RESTORE does just that, it Rerstores your computer to the way it was when you took it out of the box

Restore means GO BACK in english terms.. so put it this way, when you go back you are basically back to when you first got your computer, now im sure then you didnt have any documents saved or programs installed so in a nutshell YES YOU LOSE EVERYTHING.
Just stay away from it until you really need it.

You'll lose everything.
The restore will take your machine back to its out of the box state.
