Yes it can be done if you are able to change the number of protons/electrons and neutrons same as that are present in Gold.

Transmutation of lead into gold isn't just theoretically possible - it has been achieved! There are reports that Glenn Seaborg, 1951 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, succeeded in transmuting a minute quantity of lead (possibly en route from bismuth, in 1980) into gold.
Today particle accelerators routinely transmute elements. A charged particle is accelerated using electrical and/or magnetic fields. In a linear accelerator, the charged particles drift through a series of charged tubes separated by gaps. Every time the particle emerges between gaps, it is accelerated by the potential difference between adjacent segments. In a circular accelerator, magnetic fields accelerate particles moving in circular paths. In either case, the accelerated particle impacts a target material, potentially knocking free protons or neutrons and making a new element or isotope. Nuclear reactors also may used for creating elements, although the conditions are less controlled.

Theoreticaly it would be possible through a fusion reaction of some kind. I don't know if it's economically feasble as the energy and investment that went into producing the gold would probably be worth more than the gold it self. You would never be able to produce enough gold to make economic sense. I don't believe that the technology exists today to do something like producing gold through fusion.

This is very unlikely, because it would require an enormous amount of energy and would involve vast amounts of radiation on the scale that you are envisioning. The equipment required to perform such reactions is currently not economically feasible.
But I'll leave it up to you to figure out a way that is simple and easy in your lifetime !

Yes. Take a gew grams of fine iron powder in a test tube, add a few protons, neutrons and electrons. Close the test tube with a tight rubber stopper and shake it vigorously. Eventually, some of the protons, neutrons and electrons will find their way into iron molecules and convert them into gold.
Good luck!

Yes. It is possible to convert a piece of iron into gold in the way's of siddhar medicinal system. But for convert iron into gold in this method the cast will be more higher.Because of non availability
of herbal plant.

you never know what anyone could discover in future.. for the experiments that lead us are often from the deviation of known nature of science.. every thing is studied in general.. there are always so many exceptions and special conditions that might even prove our basic understanding of science is right..
Keep trying good luck
