We say 'stuck between a rock and a hard place.' It means to have two choices... both of them very difficult... no easy way out. And yes... right now I feel like I am living in that place! Ironically, my hard place (and my rock) is deciding whether to stay where I am or to move. The pros and cons are balanced... I'm just waiting for the landslide that will bury me in one place... or the other. Not the best way to make a decision, perhaps!
