No. And there won't be. Not as long as some people feel they have a right to hurt others just because they can(by the way, that's the devil's philosophy-justifying your actions with "because I can"--of course it's easier to destroy than to create, anybody can see that).

The places I have found real peace in this world
up in the mountains under the big trees next to a lovely waterfall .
Late at night on the beach .
In the desert .
on a deserted island.
deep in the jungles.
in the middle of the ocean on a great big boat but only you and maybe one or two other people. .
Late at night when everyone else is asleep.
Ontop of a big beautiful stallion running through an open field at full speed.
In the back yard with head phones on listening to music.
In a small private jet way up in the sky.
At the river while fishing.
In a barn and its just you and the animals.
Hiking up a mountail trail.
sitting on top of my roof looking out over everything below.
In an undiscovered cave.
Where ever the government has no immediate control and there are not a group of people and no television and where ever people do not have the need to try and impress others. In other words where money is not such a big deal if you have it or not. But mainly the only place there is peace is where the government doestn have their nose all up ones but and trying to control everyones everymove.

Peace in the world is subjective. In third world country like the Philippines there is much poverty everywhere. But if you talk to some of the people that live in the slums they will smile and tell you that they are content with the grace of just being alive.

if a person cannot find peace in the world, they can find peace within themselves and through a higher being (Allah, God, Gaia).

there will always be peace on earth, because human beings are truly a great creation one of kind and good nature, all people need to do is to get in touch with their true souls and we'll be able to have peace. In order for the world to be a peaceful place, people need to make peace with themselves first!

Yes, there is peace everywhere, but it is not continuous or constant. Peace exists in the moments when people can put aside their fears, however fleeting that moment may be, and be free to explore, create, and communicate. This can happen for soldiers in war zones, prisoners in death-camps, as well as old men building a craft, mothers watching their baby crawl, or post-coitus lovers snuggling. Peace is everywhere -- you just have to set aside fear for a moment to see it.

Yes, peace is in your soul. My soul. To me that's the greatest peace. Enough souls with peace brings peace in the world. I think there is peace in the world, but not with everyone.
Hopefully, it is contagious.

Life IS violence. You must kill and consume other living things, wrest your living space from them, and destroy those creatures who would try to do the same to you. If you ever stop fighting, you will soon be dead. That is the only lasting peace you can hope for.

--UNIQUE STATEMENT:---."I leave YOU peace, I give YOU my peace. I do not give it to YOU the way that the world gives it. Do not let YOUR hearts be troubled nor let them shrink for fear." (John 14:27) -----No worldly "peace processes" is a solution!

--Christ said he would leave his peace, with the help of holy spirit or God's active force--Thus if this is true today among true Christians, then peace would dominate where they truly make the effort to practice it.
--IN ASSOCIATION with true peace these other fruitages would have to go hand in hand:

(Galatians 5:22-23) "22 On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law."

--It is interesting how this next text provides something that resembles a "recipe" as ingredients for peace when christian qualities are combined:

Peter 1:5-8) "5 Yes, for this very reason, by YOUR contributing in response all earnest effort, supply to YOUR faith virtue, to [YOUR] virtue knowledge, 6 to [YOUR] knowledge self-control, to [YOUR] self-control endurance, to [YOUR] endurance godly devotion, 7 to [YOUR] godly devotion brotherly affection, to [YOUR] brotherly affection love. 8 For if these things exist in YOU and overflow, they will prevent YOU from being either inactive or unfruitful regarding the accurate knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."

--If you note these ingredients are workable, in that Jesus commended his disciples for practicing such when he was on earth.
--In an exhortation that Christ gave on the matter of prayer, please note what interesting recommendation he made:

(Luke 11:11-13) "11 Indeed, which father is there among YOU who, if his son asks for a fish, will perhaps hand him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he also asks for an egg, will hand him a scorpion? 13 Therefore, if YOU, although being wicked, know how to give good gifts to YOUR children, how much more so will the Father in heaven give holy spirit to those asking him!""

--So if people, individually and as a sincere & knowledgeable group would put the effort forth, there would exist to a great meassure the peace that Christ taught, even in our imperfect state!

--Does such a Christian congregation exist?--- I believe it does, and they are noted for their practice of peace, individually and organiztionally, some 6,000,000 of them --by not participating in any war effort throughout the earth in over 230 lands & teaching Christ's instructions on workable peace solutions, for any given scenario!
--Today, in close to 30 of thes nations & islands-- they are banned because of their peaceful stand. They are far from being perfect, group wise and personally but they indeed are noted for trying very hard to be peace like.
--Most people know them as , Jehovah's Witnesses or officially "The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses"--They gather together weekly in their educational centers-96,000 of such centers---known as "Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses."

--Some food for thought!

there is peace in the world, but people are the most inventive creatures and they 're inventing a bunch of reason to fight.
