I am trying to put a Triumph TT 600 motorcycle inside the back of a 2007 Saturn VUE. If it can be done, how should the bike be placed inside the vehicle (what direction, etc.)? Thanks!!

Not unless you take it apart. A truck - yes. An SUV, no.

saturn vue is pretty small, it will be a very tight fit if you get it in. fold down the seats, get a piece of 1" plywood that will fit flat in the back and not too long so that end wont fit. drain all the fluids from the bike. put it on it's side on the plywood and slide it in. i would reccomend finding a friend with a pickup though, or renting a pickup from uhaul, it will only cost you like $20 for the day, and that 20 will save you so much headache.

Nope, regardless of the size of the SUV. I have a full size truck with a cap on it, one of my lowest bikes still hits the roof of the cap so i have to block the cap up about 2". You can get a little tow behind trailer for about 500 bucks or check ebay.

Can't be done in a Vue while keeping the bike in one piece.

Maybe in pieces. SUV's just aren't any good for hauling bikes, or any other large cargo. Get a pickup truck or a van.

No, and it would be very dangerous even if you could do it. A sudden stop could send 400 lbs of metal into the back of your skull, and the gas fumes are dangerous too. Rent a small trailer, and tie it down with rachet tie-downs.
