i would wait until your scar heals completely, alternatively make sure you cover it well and use it for a shorter time than you would have done normally xxx

I don't know the actual time limit but given the high risk to developing skin cancer from using them I would give it a miss.
Think carefully about the risks before using a sunbed, and consider alternative - and safer - tanning methods, for example self-tanning lotions. If you were lucky enough not to get skin cancer from it, you will really notice the damage to your skin when you get to your 30's and 40's with wrinkling and older looking skin.
About 65,000 cases of skin cancer are reported in the UK each year, with 2,000 proving fatal.
