Well not to make a long story about this. I am unemployed right now but can work as a cytotech(what I have done for 5 years.) I am playing to go live with my boyfriend pretty soon and look for work there. I have never hit another individual (besides my brother as kids). I have a two year old and back home living with my folks. It was hard being I am a very self sufficient, independent person. The problem is my parents and the past couple of years we have been estranged. This is the second time my dad threatening to kill, me, and or knocking my down. It was an argument about my wanting to leave and being unhappy at home(which I very am). Last christmas my mom said she was going to call the police and told my father to beat some sense into me, hestarted to hit me and I tried to run but he was too stronger than me. The second time he pushed me really hard and slapped me, and grabbed me hard so I couln't run away, I back at home (living in fear)
Some body tell me my right's?

For you parents to hold you there is a kin to kidnapping. You are a free person and do do as you see fit. Pack your stuff and your child's things and leave if they won't let you leave then call the local constabulary (police, Sheriff)
Edit note; If you father or mother touch you as trying to beat you this is assault and you can and should press charges against either of them or Both.

whether he's your father or not, you can actuallly have him arrested for assault and battery. i'm sure the police will find some other things to add on as they like to do that sort of thing. once you do, get the hell out of there and don't look back, not just for your safety, but the safety of the children. that is nothing anyone should have as a childhood memory.

first you a grow young lady,,, you have the right to live as you wish, 2th ,you do not have to take the beatting from you dad, you could have him an you mom both lock up ,for this.3th threating to kill you the law dont look to kind on this, ,he could get i say a few year in jail for this,if she dis call the law ,yes she could lie an too have you put in jail, but, in to day worl you can have any one lock up for any thing,, now you can move,an their nothing they can do, as you being over the age of 18,, i say get out as soon as you could, for your child dont need to be in this mess,if you need to i have the law their to watch, whileyou move your stuff, realy i would call the law,

If you are hit, thats criminal assault , call the police and have him arrested.
You need to get a job so you can be self supporting and NOT rely on your parents.

you need to get in touch with the local womens refuge you will find it from phone directory or citezens advice bureau.you need to get out of there you are in danger
