If you're using windows XP, go to control Panel and click Add/Remove Programs. Find the messager and click uninstall.

Click on START
Open Control Panel from it
Open Add\Remove Programs
In that scroll down
You will find yahoo messenger
click on Yahoo Messenger then on Change\Remove
Then follow the instructions and its done

To delete permanently,follow the steps :
1. Click 'start'
2.Click 'control panel'
3.Click 'add/remove pr gramme'
4.Click the pro gramme to be deleted.
5.Click 'remove'

1)Go to control panel>Add or remove programs>Add or remove windows components and from the lists uncheck the messenger.
2)uninstall any installed messenger ,chances are that it will remove its registry values ,if not goto Start>Run>type"regedit">Search for strings with the name of the messenger and delete them.Also permanenetly(shift+del) delete the folder containing the program and all its shortcuts.

so u go to the control panel in your computer click on your messenger and taht will complete delete the messenger from your computer...is really easy..

go to add/remove programs in your control panel(start menu). find the messenger on the list and hit remove.

start-->control panel-->Add/Remove Programs-->Choose the Msn messenger or watever messenger u want to remove, and click remove !! VOila !
