Do a little research in history, in some cases the wealthier blacks sold the poor ones into slavery - does that mean they should make amends to each other? I find this whole subject absurd. I have a question - how come it is now correct to call the black race African Americans when most are not African. I am first generation American - my father came from Italy at age 16, so I am re-paying for what reason? I do not see an Indian history month - last time I checked this was their land! Think about it! So to answer your question no one should have a position on this - it just should not exist - there has been bad things happen to every race!

Slavery Reparations has been a non-issue for quite awhile now, except to the white neocons who obsess constantly over it.I seriously doubt that Senator Obama has given it a thought.
