As far as I understand it, it wasn't just "a few beers," and liberal Democrats have complained more about other things recently. That said, the corruption, etc. of the Clinton administration should not be overlooked or dismissed. I don't understand how they can excuse the Clintons for doing something and berate Bush for similar things. I truly believe that many have deified the Clintons, perhaps because they are the best the Dems have been able to come up with for a long time.

If you're referring to Bush, he's done more than have a few beers. He's an alcoholic who has snorted cocaine. Also, the worst Clinton ever did when he was in office was get a head job by an intern and then lie about it. Bush has sent thousands off to die in a war that was based on a lie. At least when Clinton lied, nobody died!

Bush was a full blown alcoholic and drug fiend well into his 40s.
And he claims he quit drinking 20 years ago, but videotape taken of him at a wedding in 1997 shows him clearly sloshed.
Yet another lie to add to the Bush portfolio.

A few beers in college? He was arrested for DUI in 1976. He claims he stopped drinking in 1986 (after his wife threatened to leave him). He graduated from Yale in 1968.

If my memory is correct, I think that you could be speaking of a previous Liberal post, about the skeletons in the Presidents closet..... Hardly compares to the Clintons, you are definitely right about that one...
