I'm due to have a baby in September and wanted to know where can I get free maternity wear? I'm on a budget because I'm trying to buy my first house

I dont know about free but you really should check out the local goodwill and salvation army.
(seriously)
Most people only wear their maternity things for 3 months at most (due to the seasons) so unlike some of the other things, maternity wear is in great condition and it is very inexpensive.
I found 4 great pairs of jeans/pants and four nice pairs of shorts there. I supplemented them with new shirts from walmart and that saved me a ton of money considering the jeans were $2.00 a piece and the shorts were a dollar.
Since I had more tops (new) I was able to get by wearing the jeans and pants and making several great looks.
Again not free but the next best thing.

Also, when you go check out the onesies and the other baby clothes. Alot of the onesies were new (probably purchased by the grandparents) or in great shape. I bleached them first then washed them with dreft and probably saved $200 or so bucks there too since the onesies were twenty five cents apiece and I could never have to many of them. I ended up with about 60 of them in various sizes. That sounded like alot but my little guy went thru about two of them a day. I had three different sizes so it meant I really only had to wash once a week which saved money buying dreft too since he wore those underneath everything!
Best part about all of this is that if you keep them in nice condition, you can dontate them back to the salvation army so that:
1. someone else can use them
2. you can get a tax reciept and claim the donation on your taxes making them essentially free (kinda like getting a rebate)
Hope it helps and good luck with your new house!

Im due in July and I had the same question, in Bellvue there is this place called Genesis of Pittsburgh and they will give you free maternity clothes, baby clothes, crib, strollers, all kinda stuff and you don't pay anything. No appointment needed just walk in and tell em what you need. The phone number is 412-766-4934. The address is 141 N. Fremont Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15202.

Well, you can wear your regular pants with a rubber band on the button and hole....I don't think they give you free clothes.
