Do i imagine Pronger deserved a suspension? sure and no. Did i assume he would get a suspension? sure. notwithstanding none individuals can truly say even if the hit became intentional, I dont trust it became. notwithstanding, it became helpful to the genuine, and it should be punished regardless. i imagine he in simple terms has the draw back in that section for being one among, if no longer the tallest adult men accessible. He presented that arm up at his body factor, and had McAmmond been some inches taller, (or had his head up) i do not imagine that hit would were as undesirable. regrettably jointly with his earlier offense, all of us knew that they had have their eyes on him. i'm no longer disillusioned over the suspension, observed it coming, yet I do imagine that one sport became plenty. no longer that it truly would have mattered if it were 2 video games... they're a reliable, hungry crew, and one guy isn't going make or spoil that. we can win it at residing house this nighttime, and that i could not be happier for them! i comprehend many hockey followers imagine of the ducks as a mickey mouse crew, and a comic book tale, and that i wish this opens some eyes to the actual shown truth that they seem to be a good crew. It likely wont, because some actually everyone looks in simple terms too close minded to trust that a crew from SoCal ought to or ought to take residing house the cup. yet I digress, i'm in simple terms satisfied to make sure them win, inspite of all the naysayers.

Anaheim's Chris Pronger was struck in the face and throat by Visnovsky's slap shot 48 seconds into overtime and left the ice, but the injury wasn't serious.
"The majority of the puck hit him in the chin, so we were fortunate in that respect," Ducks coach Randy Carlyle said. "It didn't do as much damage as we thought it did at first."

Chris Pronger is apparently ok, they thought he was ok after the game. Turned out he is alright and will play tonight. Here are articles detailing when he was first struck in the chin/throat to now when he says he's good to go after having tests done:

it hasn't made the news so he must be alright.unlike shanahan for the rangers he was hospitalized with a concussion and had to taken off of the ice on a stretcher.they usually make the news when they are bad.i have seen them hit with the puck need stitches go to the sideline or lockerroom and get stitched up and return to the ice for the rest of the game.i have seen them get knocked out and still return for the rest of the game.if it was real serious the coach or the medical staff would side line them for their own safety.

It probably made an improvement to his ugly face. I wish Lubo would have shot it harder! I will pull the Wild Wing statue down with my truck if the Anaheim Sucks win the cup!!! After all these years you would think the fans would know about hockey!!!

"While normally a slap shot to the face is not helpful to the looks in Pronger's case it has helped."
