"That ... we shut down our nuclear fuel cycle program to let talks begin. It's no problem. But justice demands that those who want to hold talks with us shut down their nuclear fuel cycle program too. Then, we can hold dialogue under a fair atmosphere," Ahmadinejad said.

So Do you beleave we should set an example by doing away with our own Nuclear program in the US before asking others to, or do you feel that we have the right to have a nuclear program and Iran should stop thiers anyway. Please give a reason. I am intrested to hear what the people of the US thinks and not just what Bush and GOP think.

Are you kidding me ?!?!?

If we disarm unilaterally(it will never happen) then our many enemies will attack !!!!

I think Ahmadinejad is stalling and playing foolish and dangerous games . Most military analysts predict a HUGE HIT on Iran by this summer . Get ready for Big-Time Fireworks !!

Ahmadinejad is more of a figurehead than an actual leader in Iran. All the big decisions, including those regarding Iran's nuclear program are made by the grand Ayatollahs, not the President.

To date, Iran has abided by every letter of the Anti Proliferation Treaty and is completely within its legal rights to be doing what it is doing.

Obviously, the US isn't going to give up its nuclear power, or even stop giving nuclear technology to India, and you can bet your life that the only "country" with known nuclear, chemical, and bio-weapon stockpiles in the region isn't going to give up theirs either, and they never even signed the NPT, nor will they ever allow any international inspection.

Unfortunately, Ahmadinejad made that idiotic comment about the map and that's what the controlled media is going to harp on until israel bombs Iran's nuclear facilities and drags us into another war. As it turns out, israel is NEVER the aggressor, it is ALWAYS merely "retaliating" or "pre-empting."

Onward Christian Soldiers.

First of all Pres A has said that if he gets a nuke he will wipe Israel of the face of the map. His country doesn't need nuclear power, it's floating on tons of oil. Guess why he's building the plant then? It starts with an N and ends with uclear Bomb.

Second, and this is very important, he is a part of a religious sect that beleives it is their duty to hasten the return of the 12th madi, or prophet. How is he supposed to do this? By bringing about Armageddon.

He is lying to the UN who he knows won't do anything because they are a bunch of spineless cowards. He is lying to the American press. If you want to hear the truth listen to what he says to his own people.

I'm looking forward to when Ahmadinejad's prediction that the Hidden Imam (some dead guy who supposedly lived 1200 years ago) will return this year turns out to be false. Iran's Islamic Revolution will be discredited, allowing the Shah to return to his throne.

Last time I looked Iran was still a sovereign country operating within their own rights to self determination.

No way. They are the 1's out of compliance with the NPT. No one should believe a word he says. Diplomacy is a waste of time with him.
