Recently an answer here pointed me to the internationalfilm.tv website, to find DVDs of TV shows. Here's a link: http://www.internationalfilm.tv/home.php?cat=252. This looks like a fake site, to collect credit card numbers. Or, it's a pirate site - most of the shows I can tell are not actually released on DVD. I've googled this site and can find no information, reviews or warnings about it.

Does anyone have information on this site, or know where I can get it? Has anyone dealt with this site?

Dyslexia - the site wants only Visa or MC numbers - no PayPal. Contact Us is a form submission only. There is no info anywhere for phone number, address, email address, etc. This seems suspicious to me.

Also - the products ship on DVD-R, and there are no actual product photos on the site. This makes it seem like piracy - they're making their own copies of shows they've taped off the air or something.

They may or may not be a fake site but they are certainly spamming out heaps. I was totally unaware of this site till they started sending me haps of spam per day. Several messages follow each other, Thanks for your order, your order has been processed, your credit card has been charged.............about 5 or 6 hours later the same messages are sent again. Has been spamming these same repeated messages now for about 3 weeks. Before that, several times a day messages routed via spam bots promoting there DVD service.

Personally, wouldn't deal with a company that spams and sends out fake messages that they have processed your "order" and have "charged" your credit card.

It doesn't look or seem like a phish..
The only way you can be sure is to buy the cheapest thing from them and see if you get it.

Also, whenever you're suspicious about a phish site, check it up on htttp://www.phishtank.com/ (I use it alot) and nothing was found for http://www.internationalfilm.tv/

Be sure to look for an alternative buying method rather than giving your credit card numbers (look for a PayPal link to buy things with).

About 70% of phishing sites wouldn't allow you to login, contact us, etc* .. so it seems okay to me.
I don't generally buy things online though.. [rolls eyes]

Take care and be safe,
Dys.

* I know it's about 70% because I go on a forum that talk about making them and viruses/trojans/exploits and such, so I'm quite determined.. I don't make these things myself but I give tips to the people that do.
Like I said, be safe with what you give over the internet.
