Have an attorney or a title company draw up a Quit Claim deed for you, adding you to the property. Once the deed is signed and notarized, you record the deed with the County Recorder.
This should be pretty cheap...in Ohio, you'd be looking at about $103...$75 for the attorney, $28 to record.

she needs to get a lawyer and have you put on the deed also, or have the lawyer draw up a survivorship deed if something was to happen to her the house would go directly to you and would not have to go through probate court.

She can add you very easily by calling the title agency or mortgage company. You cannot add yourself.

The house is a marital asset now (even if she bought it before you, even if her exhusband bought it for her) it is half yours there is no reason to put your name on the title.
