There's a difference between having your tubes tied and a tubal ligation. If they are tied, they can become untied but it is not likely if done correctly. When you have a tubal ligation, they remove sections so they cannot become untied or grow back together.

As I recall about 1 in 100 women get pregnant in the first 7 years after the surgery. It has to do with whether the tubes scar properly or not. After that you'd need a tubal reversal to get pregnant, which usually works but doesn't always.

The technique for having a tubal ligation in simple terms isn't an similar because it use to be. maximum docs do no longer in simple terms tie off the tubes. They tie them and burn the ends of them so there is not any probability of them undoing themselves. probability is virtually one hundred% that you'll now no longer develop into pregnant lower back after a tubal ligation. I had my in 1982 and not at all received pregnant after that. I doubt very a lot that you're pregnant. it really is a really rare element after having tubes ligated. now no longer no longer conceivable, notwithstanding superb.

very possible...my mother had her tubes tied, and got pregnant with twins...she did miscarry one, but the other one was a tubal pregnancy, and they were lucky to catch it when they did, because she almost died from it. If you think you may be pregnant, make sure that it is not a tubal pregnancy. Take care of yourself.

Well, the dam has been known to bust loose, and if those tied tubes get too bloated, well, getting pregnant with twins is possible.

Very possible! Happened to someone very close to me. And after she had the baby, they tied them again, checked with dye and they still weren't tied completely. So, yes. Good luck! **If you are worried, have your husband get a vasectomy too. :)
