Murad; it's like proactive; except it doesn't use alcohol, which dries out the skin. I have very sensitive skin and it's helped me clear up a lot more than my Noxema.

Don't use Proactive, it's for acne and you don't appear to have bad acne. To prevent aging, you need to moisturise and wear a sunscreen. Those are the very first steps you take, from age 15. However, as you're in the right age group to, you can start using anti-aging products. Try the Loreal range. From age 30, I think the Visible Results line would be best for you. Loreal is generally affordable, depending on where you go. Olay is good too. Regenerist. There's a cream, a wash, and a serum, and an eyecream, which is vital. Nivea Visage is about to release a new anti-aging range, which will be very good too. Nivea is great. I hope these suggestions helped. Good luck.

There are a couple of products I suggest,..it sounds like you have a few things going on, depending on how "well" you know your own skin & what "level " you are at (or would like to be) on a healthy skin regimate. I usually gage a persons level on 3 questions about your makeup routine (taking into consideration days you may not wear any).
1. Are you a person that starts with a primer & ends with a type of product setting?
2. Uses a type of foundation to even your skin only & powder just if oily?
3. Uses very little if any makeup?
If you feel you are level 1 or somewhere in between 1 & 2, I would suggest a daily routine of Wellskin (made by Genesis skin care) for your cleanser (this will help prevent your occassional breakouts, the glycolic acid in wellskin is also great for your pores & you will notice a difference within just days). For a toner I think either glytone acne (also made by wellskin) or skin medica acne toner (made by skin medica). The last daily step use Bioclear Cream (Jan Marini...part of her bioglycolic line). Bioclear cream is excellent for the reduction of pores. By following this regimate (no cheating lol) you will definately see smoother healthier skin within weeks but dramatic after a couple of months.
If you feel you are mostly a one & mabe a 2 use Glytone acne kit (made by genesis). Yes, you will see a difference it just may take a little longer, but you won't feel overwhelmed with different product lines.
As far as your acne scars depending on how deep, find a reputable medical esthician & discuss a series of microdermabrasions & chemical peels.
I ALWAYS recomend cosmaceuticals over department store skincare, they have more of the active ingredient needed to achieve the best results...because of this it lasts longer & although prices vary overall they are much more cost effective.
Now where to purchase the products. Your local cosmedic/medical office may sell them or go online & search by company or skincare store. Just a note, don't let your skin get to dry either that is a common mistake (even with oily skin), always keep on hand a oil free moisturizer to use as needed. Here are a couple of suggestions Theraplex, this is my favorite, but you will probably have to go online or call your local Dermatologist they should have it. I haven't looked recently but you will be able to find a nice oil free moisturizer (make sure it is for face) @ your local CVS, Wallgreens, Target...
About anti-aging creams if you use step one Bioclear will help with that, there are also products that rebuild collogen, one of my favorites is TNS recovery made by skin medica (you just have to get past the smell...it only lasts a minute). Don't forget to use eyecream twice a day. Again there are so many choices depending on needs, but stick with a cosmaceutical grade.
Good luck!
