Stubborn is defined as:

Unreasonably, often perversely unyielding; bullheaded.
Firmly resolved or determined; resolute. Characterized by perseverance; persistent. Difficult to treat or deal with; resistant to treatment or effort.

People are stubborn for a variety of reasons; not wanting to admit being wrong, not wanting to give in, not wanting the other person to have the "high horse," etc. Stubborn is a common trait and gives way to unresolved conflicts quite often.

Too bad we can't just "give in" so that we do not further the stubborn, mule-headedness that perpetuates continued discouraging conversations with an individual.

How can you say someone is so stubborn without deal with it. Being stubborn is ignoring things. Stub + born is like being born to be ignored. I think its wrong, im not stubborn.
