Yeah, I posted an 'opinon' and I got the old reply 'Stop shoving your religion down people's throats' . My post requested pro-abortion(I didn't call it that then) people to please reconsider their stance on abortion . Nothing else.. . . .I just ASKED . Is it not OK to ASK ? If the Liberal Democrats win in 2008, I'm gonna have a difficult time adjusting to the NEW RULES !!!
So far I've learned that I can't ASK any questions that are NOT the view of the Liberals !!!

What else can't I ASK questions about ?

-You cannot ask questions about Saddams hanging. I have had 3 questions deleted before they were even posted.
-You can however ask questions on how to kill our President. (pretty pathetic huh?)
-If you don't phrase your statements to comply with liberal views then they will be deleted.
-If you "dare" to say anything negative about the Clintons then you will be reported.

I could go on and on but I think you get the idea.

What do you mean, you "can't ask" questions that "the Liberals" don't like? Of course you can ask them. You just have to recognize that you may get answers that YOU won't like. That's life... and that's freedom.

Consider this: people who hold opinions that are different than yours might still be thoughtful, intelligent, and humane people. They have legitimate reasons for believing the things that they do, and they HAVE already thought about those reasons AND considered the alternatives. You're not the first person who has ever asked them to "reconsider" - you might be the ten-thousandth person. It gets tiring after a while.

If you wish to understand why reponses you recieve are phrased the way they are you need only need to read your current "question".

It is a declarative statement - not an interogative query.
By hurling accusations into the forum using excessive capital letters with a hostile and accusatory message you are shoving your message down people's throats.

Thank you for phrasing the question as you did - since it makes the absurdity of your statement all the more obvious.
It's almost as if this is an intentional exercise in satyre and irony.

I save attempting to communicate about that there is a distinction between atheism and secularism. Secularism believes interior the separation of church and state (i'm utilizing church in a wide experience the following--separation of spirit and state or separation of consciense and state in case you want). Being a secularist basically means that the authorities does no longer have the right to compel someone by using state means to trust a particular way, even if it really is non secular or no longer. (some atheists do not comprehend this. maximum do.) truly, i do not regard a loose substitute of concepts and arguments as "shoving" some thing down anyones throats. at the same time as human beings enter the marketplace of concepts they ought to no longer assume to locate no longer some thing that offends them or that they disagree with (jointly with faith). attempting to apply the means of authorities to compel human beings to trust a particular way is a diverse count number.

If you want to be taken more seriously then PLEASE let of the dependency of blaming "liberals" for and of,everything.

It sounds ignorant.

Just be thankful there are liberals in the first place or otherwise we'ed be stuck back in the facist fifties, and all those rights you take for granted today would NEVER be tolerated by the far Right of that time.

Forcing repigion into govt policies and programs. Forcing religious symbols in govt settings.

TO keep religion out of govt isnt a "liberal democrat" new rule, its in the 230 YO constitution. Try reading the 1st amendment and its supporting case law.

As far as abortion goes, you are enforcing YOUR religious opinions on the privare medical decisions of others. UNDErSTAND?

In what way did you "request" this? Please remember that, as someone who supports a woman's right to choose, I'm pretty tired of being called a murdering liberal. I don't think the government has the right to force a woman to give birth to a child she either can't, or doesn't want to, care for. I consider that an offshoot of rape - forcing a woman to use her body for something she doesn't want to use it for.

And being called a murderer because I don't necessarily approve of abortion itself, but definitely think it's a personal decision... well, I'm sorry, but I get a little sick of that.

So I ask again... in what tone was your "request" made?

I generally define someone "shoving one's opinions or religion down one's throat" as whenever someone directly states or implies that another's opinions or religion are wrong and is obnoxious or offensive about it.

It is only the begining. Anytime a person expresses a belief that is counter to a liberals, then that is shoving an opinion down the throat.

It will only get worse as the liberals take over.
