Ralph should give it a rest. He doesn't have a snowball's chance, and he is a certifiable wacko. The only really good thing he ever did was give the election in 2000 to Geroge W Bush by drawing away most of the real wacko vote from Al Gore.

Yikes! NO. i'm no longer saying i'm against a third party, through fact I did vote for Ross Perot. Ralph Nader is a nut. i do in comparison to him. He ran as tho he grow to be greater on the liberal area yet took money and help from the neocons. he's yet another Joe Lieberman.

The further right the Democratic candidate, the more important it is for Nader to run in order to try to bring public attention to issues and to candidates' records and so, try to pull the Democratic party back into standing for American people's interests.

I see him running. I say he runs and pushes issues about fair elections, democracy, corporate power, real anti-war, pro-universal health care, living wage, good education (rather than training more standardized corporate drones), civil rights, environment, and so on, that won't be really addressed by other candidates (and if they are will be nothing more than lipservice). If you don't want him to run, put pressure on the other candidates to be serious about these sorts of issues, so he doesn't have to try to push these issues.

Ralph Nader ran not because his goal in life is to be president and to have power, there is really no evidence to that effect, rather he ran to educate people and to push issues (and so, to help ordinary Americans), because his running in itself did make many Americans think about the real situation of the country, our real interests and real solutions and also to try to get other candidates to adopt some of his positions on issues like health care, a living wage, the war, education, the list goes on and on (if you're not already familiar with it there's plenty of information about his positions on votenader.org in addition to nader.org). And there are loads of evidence that suggest that he cares passionately about the welfare of the American people (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, seatbelts, Freedom of Information Act, and tons of citizen groups are just a few for starters).

For the answerers who believe every rumor they hear: He did not take money from the GOP (though people of all sorts of political affiliations including some Republicans did vote for him because they thought he's honest and would be a good president--I know some such registered Republicans). He did not steal any election, check the facts (& watch the upcoming movie The Unreasonable Man). Also, several times more dems in Florida in 2000 voted for Bush than all the people who voted for Nader (maybe it's the fault of those Democrats who voted for Bush), maybe if Gore had been a better candidate he wouldn't have spoiled it for himself.

With good intentions I'm sure he really shouldn't run. He splits the vote too much and because of him Bush won. Nader has cried wolf for so many years that people aren't believing him anymore but he still could draw enough votes to throw a win to the ultra-conservative candidate.

Absolutely not! He is a good man, but he did the country a great disservice last time... stay out of it Nader!

Yes, if he wants to run in the democratic party and accepts the results of the primaries anything other, like the green party while good in concept just distracts from our two party system and does little for our form of government.

Better take another look,
his track record makes Bush look good.
wishy washy, to say the least, he is a great auto safety advocate but when it comes to running a country, you may want to think again,
green isnt everything.

it'd be a great win, granted he's done more for the common man than all the presidents of the last 50 years. however he won't run or win becuase he doesn't have money or a pretty face.

he prolly will run but he wont win becuase the electoral college wont vote for him. Even if he did win the popular vote i wouldn't matter.
