Its opponents sure made good use of it in the ads for the last election. Very few people seem to realize that the death tax only affects a very select few.

The Death Tax is a discriminatory tax that belongs in the code of Draco. No dead person should be taxed. Nobody should be taxed at a higher percentage rate on a tax than anybody else.

If we revised the tax code to make the poor pay their fair share, we'd get rid of big government pretty fast. Instead, the government continues to resort to stealing, referred to as income redistribution by its advocates. Just because your victims are rich doesn't make stealing right. That's why Robin Hood and Jesse James both should have been hung.

It doesn't affect everyone; but most of those it does affect are the productive people who have given so much more to our society than most who are not affected. How ironic.
