Tell them the truth.. you were drunk baked out watching some shanghai porn the last time you talked with them online. You were excited about going there and whoring it up when you made your decision..
When the drugs wore off and after wiping off your crispy well seasoned keyboard against your dirty flannel, you checked your MSN history and realized that yet again in your stupor you made a commitment you couldn't keep..
If that doesnt work - just tell them a family member is suddenly ill and you may have to postpone.. then let several days go by and let them know you will have to cancel, your tickets are non-refundable so you will definately get out there at some point (cause you have the tickets already) just need to take care of family business..
